Capturing the grace and beauty of the body in motion and the sunlight playfully dancing in harmony with the silhouettes, these two elements become elegantly entwined. The subtlety and precision of the performance a stark contrast against the raw, urban landscape.
Remote But Yet So Close
Appearances can be deceptive. The discovery of an unexpected landscape on the outskirts of Brooklyn with the power to transport the viewer to a far away land. Summoning a sentiment of solitude one might feel for a remote shore yet in reality the scene is set minutes from the hustle of New York City life . .
Once visiting Paris and walking around the streets I happend to run across a family of musicians, one of them was this beautiful young girl who could be 10 years of age, she was playing the violin and was phenomenal. After they finished playing I found out they were a family of immigrants from Romania that at the time were performing on the streets of Paris to survive. I ask if I could photograph the young girl where she was seating at this chest and looking in a different time period, this was the result.
In The Line Of Fire
On a sunny day in the summer I was riding my bike looking for something to shot at, when I saw that a fire had spark at a warehouse near by and a firetruck was on its way there, I follow the firetruck and when I got there, I was around fifty firefighters trying to contain this strong fire, at one point the fire seem to had gain some power and this guys seem exhausted by the force of this, so one of them was kneeling on the floor taking his helmet off to take some air and gain some strength, at that point I saw the shot I was looking for.
